I miss this kid and his piano playing!

No sorry, I was about to start typing then we decided to play a game of basketball and I accidentally hit send instead of save.... (Bracken sent me a blank e-mail at first and I was like hello? is this it?)
My week has been awesome! We had interviews with president Russell, and they were fantastic!
We talked a lot about the Plan of Salvation, which is really key to our eternal progression. It was really enlightening. I am super happy that I have the mission president I do. It is super awesome.
We also had stake conference! It was so amazing! Our mission president and his wife came in and spoke Saturday night. It was amazing!
We had a few investigators come on Sunday to that session! It was so great! I enjoyed having great speakers there as well.
Other than that we had a rainy week. The sun is poking out today, but it is super windy and isolated showers. It's crazy!!
Let's see, nothing else really happened this week. We got a referral this week, and they look super solid. We shall see though!
I was thinking more about faith this week, and I was again lead to Ether 12:6
"6 And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith."
As we are using our faith, we will not get our witness until after the trial. Got will always pull through, and if we're not getting an answer, it is coming.
I love you all! I hope you have a great week!
I'm glad you got my letter mom :)

Bracken playing the piano. Funny thing, Deryl and I were just asking each other if Bracken was getting in some piano time. Very cool to get this video and we didn't even ask him! Funny how that works sometimes.

Oregon Sunshine makes this Florida Boy Happy

Hey Mom!
I'm glad that your week went well! Tell Elise I said that I know she did amazing with her piano thing! Can you believe she is almost 14?? That's crazy!
I heard that Hayden came home yesterday! There is a member in the Redwood Ward who's son went to the same mission as Kyle Griffitts and they were super good friends so she is in touch with them.
I'm sorry you didn't get the job at JetBlue, but I think that it will be good in the long run. If you haven't already, watched the Mormon message "the will of God.'" It is a really good one that I think will help you.
Let's see, this week has been great! We went and saw a bunch of people. We had a pretty great week. Today is Elder Chiu's birthday so we will go do something fun today for him.
I got a bit sick this week, but I'm feeling a lot better today. Took some DayQuil and Nyquil and just lots of OJ and I'm feeling better! It must have just been a quick cold or something.
Let's see, it was a sunny weekend!! We didn't have any rain! It made me so happy! But this next week it will start raining again, so that stinks.
I have been thinking about the Atonement a lot this week. I know that the Atonement is super important. Christ went through the Atonement to help us. We learn in Isaiah 53

3 "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Christ went through all of this to heal us. He knows what we go through, and he wants to heal us. I know that as we learn of him and follow his commandments, we can be healed.

I love you mom!

Special Birthday Dinner

Sister Marci Haack from the Redwood Ward in Grants Pass made Bracken's day extra special. She not only made Bracken dinner but text me to ask me about oven roasted potatoes and bbq chicken that he likes. She made him those things and they also got him a cake and sang to him then she text me some pictures. What a special momma! I'm so happy to know people are taking care of my boy. Even though I was sad I couldn't celebrate with him I was happy to know he was in great hands. :) Thank you Haack Family!!

Sushi Anyone?

 Hi momma!
It sounds like you've had a wonderful week! The bike tires have been slow getting to the Haacks, but they said they'd let me know as soon as it gets to them thank dad for getting those to me!
I really did have a good birthday! I enjoyed the gifts as well :) thanks for the shirts and stuff!

That baby Olivia sure is cute! I think you should teach that child to call you and dad Oma and Opa, that would be so awesome! I really think it would be cool.

This week has been awesome! We're doing a weight loss thing as a zone, and I've already dropped 5 lbs! It's crazy!

We found 3 new investigators and have a lot planned for the week to come! I'm super excited to be here again in Grants Pass with Elder Chiu! As it turns out, his birthday is on the 13th this month! It is super awesome! We are teaching like crazy! On Saturday we had so many appointments we were running around like crazy! Hahahaha!

Oh, we also went to an all you can eat buffet! It was great! I have such a pull to sushi now, dad would be proud! 😂😂

This week, I was thinking about a question Jesus asks Peter after he goes fishing with his other apostles. Jesus says in John 21

"15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs."

What do we have that is holding us back from growing closer to Christ? What do we have that we love more than Him? I was pondering that this week and I am striving to eliminate those things and show Christ that I love him over all.

Anyway, I got a couple pictures from this week!
Here is Elder Chiu and I on the one sunny day

Here are the Elders on my birthday:)

Much love!

Bracken's new niece Olivia. I'll add her on Bracken's blog so he can see how much she changes. She will be one years old when he is finished with his mission. :)

Happy 19th Birthday Elder Snyder!

He was always planning on what he would do next. Lost in his own little world hence his nickname Zoni!

I miss this kid everyday but I know he's doing amazing things and wouldn't have it any other way. Saving all his hugs til March 2018!!
